Jesus discourteous?

When Jesus and disciples came to the house of Mary, Martha, and Lazarus, Mary listened to what Jesus had to say, while Martha struggled with preparing a meal for about 15 people.  When she came to Jesus with a complaint that Mary does not help her, Jesus said that Mary made a better choice.  Is it discourteous to say such words to a hostess who intended to feed Jesus and his friends?
